Shows the sympathetic “fight-or-flight” signal to the adrenal medulla: a hypoglycemia trigger travels from the thoracic spinal cord through the greater splanchnic nerve, skips the celiac ganglion, and makes a direct nicotinic synapse to release epinephrine.
